Comedian George Wallace to offer free tickets to military personnel in 2012

Comedian George Wallace was so inspired by his appearance at WWE Tribute to the Troops earlier this week, he's taken a few steps of his own to give back to the men and women of the Armed Forces.

On a conference call that also included WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, "The New Mr. Vegas" announced he?will be offering?a free ticket?to his "I Be Thinkin'" comedy show at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to any active serviceman or woman with a valid miltiary photo ID.

"[It's] so important to give back," Wallace told reporters on the conference call. "We have love for these troops that go and defend our country. They're family, actually."

The seat will be in the best available spot in the general seating area, the offer is only good for one free ticket a year, and spots are based on availability the day of the performance.

For the comedian, offering the tickets isn't so much a polite gesture as a duty to his fellow man.

"They've given so much," Wallace said of?the troops. "That's our purpose in life, purpose on Earth, is to give back."?
